Mt. Rose - Ski Tahoe

There are over 60 different trails with 8 lifts. The trails range from beginner to advanced. There is a trail for everyone no matter your experience level. The longest trail they have is an amazing 2.5 miles long. You can also rent out equipment when visiting this lovely resort. The prices vary depending on what you are renting and the age of the person you are renting the equipment for.

Mt. Rose resort offers lessons for the beginner. You can either choose to have private lessons, or you can have group lessons. The lessons vary in duration from between 60 to 90 minutes depending upon if you are having a group lesson or a private lesson. The prices will also vary depending on which lesson you choose to have. There are also different packages you can choose to partake in. The packages range from the beginner to someone that has skied before but would like to get better. It all depends on you and your comfort level of skiing. This is by far a place to come if you’re just beginning to ski or you have the whole family with you. They have courses just for the little ones and instructors that will show your little skier the basics and fundamentals of skiing.

When you first arrive at Mt. Rose you will need to stop in at the main lodge. When you first walk into the lodge, you will notice this is where everything happens. You will need to sign up for the activities that you want to do for the day. If you need to rent equipment, you can get it there. You will also be able to eat there at the many different cafes and dining areas. Also at the lodge you will be able to get any maps and ask any questions about the resort.
